The Fall Eyeshadow Palette Pick

I love a good eyeshadow palette, in fact I might love them a bit too much considering I have more than most normal people should or ever would possess. That being said, after watching a tutorial that Karima posted a few months back (which I highly recommend giving a watch), I knew I had to get my hands on the Becca Ombre Rouge palette. Despite my quite extensive collection of eyeshadow palettes I had yet to find an entirely matte palette that was both well-rounded in terms of the shade selection and had a really good formulation. I do like the Urban Decay Naked Basics palettes, however I don't find the shade selection to be quite varied enough and I think the formula is just ever so slightly chalky in consistency.

This palette is definitely going to be in my everyday makeup rotation for the next few months because the shade selection just screams fall. Although there are only five eyeshadows I find this to be an incredibly versatile palette. You can definitely create a very natural everyday look with the lighter half of the palette and then use the darker two shades to create a more dramatic look. The palette does lean very warm, so if you are a fan of cooler eyeshadows then I would give this one a pass (even look into the Becca Ombre Nudes palette), however although they are very warm shades I find them very wearable and flattering.

The packaging and formula are also definite perks of this palette as well. The packaging is incredibly sleek and sturdy and contains a great mirror. I also find these shadows to be some of the best, most blendable matte eyeshadows that I have come across.

What is your favorite matte eyeshadow palette?
