Foundation: No Thanks!
My skin has been rather well-behaved the past few months. Luckily I've never had terrible skin, when I was a teenager I had a few breakouts on the regular, but all in all nothing too horrendous. However, being so fair skinned, even when I do get a small breakout it almost always leaves a scar and that scar lasts for a good few weeks. I don't know what I've been doing lately but for some reason my skin has been completely breakout free (bar one or two during that time of the month) and therefore I have had almost no need to wear foundation on a daily basis. I haven't changed my skincare routine or my diet all that much so I don't know where this bout of great skin is coming from but I am not complaining.
Even when I do wear foundation it is normally a light coverage option that will only really even out my skin tone rather than totally masking any hint of minor imperfection. It has been so nice only needing to dot on a bit of the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer under my eyes and any areas of redness and blending it in with a dampened Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to ensure that the concealer blends in seamlessly and looks completely natural. I love the look of very natural looking skin and letting my freckles poke through and hopefully my skin keeps behaving like this so I can continue this fuss-free face routine.
