The Hair Product Trio
I've always been a minimalist when it comes to my hair routine. In fact my greatest wish in life is to have hair that I could just shampoo, condition, air dry and not have to worry about. That being said, because my hair is currently pretty short and it is naturally very curly I do have to tame it and that normally comes in the form of using some kind of heat styling tool (which I'm planning to write a post on). In the past year I feel like I have found some great hair products that I am thoroughly in love with, they all do different jobs but they are all equally essential to my hair routine.
The Dry Shampoo - I have been on the hunt for the best dry shampoo for ages and I feel like I have found it in the Clean Freak Dry Shampoo by Not Your Mother's Haircare. Not only is it incredibly affordable ($6 for a big 7oz bottle) but it also smells incredible without being overpowering and it absorbs any oil without leaving that awful white residue that so many other dry shampoos do.
The Messy Hair Product - I love a bit of Bumble & Bumble and their Semi Sumo pomade is no exception. This product is a waxy pomade, which is great if you want that piecey, undone hair look. I personally like to use this product on day one hair when it's a bit puffy and needs a bit of pieciness and grit. It's also worth mentioning how good this product smells, I mean come on it's Bumble&Bumble what do you expect?!
The Sea Salt Spray - If there's one product that I will use no matter the length of my hair it's a sea salt spray, but finding the right one can be tricky. A lot of sea salt sprays are very crunchy and leave the hair very dry but the one from John Master's Organics, the Sea Mist with Lavender Oil, is absolutely perfect. Because of the lavender oil in the formula, my strands never feel dry or crunchy but my hair still has that amazing beachy texture that you get from taking a dip in the ocean.
