A New Favorite Lash Duo
I am the first one to say that buying high-end mascara is a waste of money, mainly because they go bad pretty quickly (about every 3-4 months), but also because in general the drugstore has some great mascara offerings (and who doesn't like to save money?). However, recently I've just been kind of unimpressed with the new drugstore mascara launches. When it came time to buy a new mascara I didn't feel like buying one that I had tried before so I headed to Sephora and had a browse of all the mascara they had to offer (which is a lot). I've had a few Clinique mascara samples and have always been impressed and it also just so happens that they are some of the cheapest in the high-end makeup world. I decided to pick up the Clinique High Impact Mascara, which to me is like the Maybelline Full & Soft (an old favorite of mine) just with a lot more impact (as the name would seem to suggest).
To make this purchase even better, I got a new pair of eyelash curlers. To be fair, my eyelashes are relatively curly already and I definitely can get away with not using eyelash curlers but I do like that they make my eyes seem a lot more awake (which I've needed as of late thanks college). I had a pair of MAC eyelash curlers for about 4 years, and they were great but I feel like they were getting a bit old and grimy. So I went to ULTA and picked up a pair of the Japonesque Power Curl Eyelash Curlers and oh my god do they work! My eyelashes have seriously never been as curly as they are when I use these eyelash curlers.
I have a feeling that I will be using this lash combination for awhile now...
