I'm back and for real this time! July has been crazy with weekends away and starting my new job, which has been amazing but busy. That being said I have some pretty awesome favorites this month to share with you all, some old and some new but all equally amazing.
I ran out of my shower gel, the Soap & Glory Clean Girls shower gel, so obviously it was time to buy a new bottle and while I did love Clean Girls I decided to go back to an old love of mine the Soap & Glory Clean On Me Shower Gel. Now this stuff is seriously amazing, for one the scent is incredible and practically identical to the beautiful Miss Dior Cherie perfume (which has sadly been discontinued). These Soap & Glory shower gels also last for ages, I had my last one for almost nine months, which make them a bargain at $16!
I never thought I'd see the day where I owned the Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Palette as it was limited edition and I never got around to purchasing it when it was at the Bobbi Brown counter last fall. But during a recent trip to a CCO (Cosmetic Company Outlet) I spotted it in all it's neutral shadow glory and immediately purchased it. The palette features, as the name would suggest, a nice array of chocolate shades ranging from glittery to matte. The formulation of the shadows is great and the mattes are seriously amazing and not at all chalky. My favorite look to do with this palette is to put the third to last shade all over the lid and then the second to last shade in the crease, which sounds uber simple (and is) but it is super flattering on my pale eyes.
Throughout the month of July I've been having a major orangey-red moment so it's no surprise that I've been rocking bright orangey-red nails and a matching lip. My favorites when it comes to all things orangey-red are the Rimmel Salon Pro Polish in Hip Hop and the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Striking. The nail polish is awesome not only for the color, but the brush and the formula are pretty on point and it only cost me about $3, BARGAIN! I love the Revlon Matte Balms for their quick and easy application and for how well they last on the lips.
Hold the phone, Hannah's been liking a liquid liner! I know, I know it's hard to believe I've actually been getting into liquid liner this past month because normally I don't wear eyeliner a whole lot and when I do it's almost always in pencil form. However this month I've been dabbling in the very confusing world of liquid liner and I gotta say the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner has got me singing its praises. The formula is super black and long-lasting and the super fine point makes it relatively easy for me to do a cat-eye flick. I never thought I'd see the day where I'd say this but I've really been enjoying wearing a really retro look with black flicky liner and the Revlon Matte Balm on the lips (a FOTD will be coming soon on that look).
What have been your favorites for the month of July?
