A Bronzer For Us Pale Gals
If you have read this blog for a little while or seen any of my Face Of The Days then you will know just how pale I am (and I'm talking Casper the Friendly Ghost kinda pale). Having very pale skin therefore makes it very difficult to find a good bronzer; they're either too muddy/dark or too orange and after a good number of years trying to find "the one" I think I've finally succeeded.
I first heard about the Body Shop Honey Bronzer (in the lightest shade of course) through Estée's blog and YouTube channel, and if there's any one I can trust for pale skin-centric makeup recommendations it's her. Not only is the color of this bronzer perfect, because it is so pale and very much honey-toned (not too orange and not too red), but the formula is equally amazing. I personally despise shimmery bronzers because I mainly use bronzer to add a bit of color and shape to my face and I prefer not to look like a disco ball in my every day life. The powder itself is very finely milled (yes I know that phrase is used all too often in the beauty blogging community) and it doesn't go patchy when applied but it also has a good amount of pigment considering how light it is. Besides the incredible color, the price is what really gets me hot under the collar about this product, at $18 it's almost 2/3 the price of the beloved NARS Laguna bronzer and The Body Shop constantly has 40% off deals running both online and in store, which makes it even more of a bargain!
