It's been quite some time since I've given a drugstore foundation a try. I personally prefer buying high-end foundations because the ingredients are generally better and I can be 100% sure the color is correct. But after seeing so many rave reviews of this foundation in the blogosphere I thought it was worth a shot and I've gotta say, I'm pleasantly surprised.
First off, the color is a perfect match, I have the shade W1-2 and at first I was worried this would be far too pink but it isn't at all. The finish of this foundation is really nice as well, as the name would suggest it's a luminous foundation, but on my oily skin I don't find it to be too dewy or shiny, I do however need to blot after a few hours, but that's the case with most foundations I own. The thing that shocked me most about this foundation is the coverage. The coverage definitely leans on the medium to buildable side of things and normally I'm not a fan of anything but sheer/light coverage foundations. Even though it is a heavier coverage, the foundation feels incredibly light on the skin and doesn't look heavy or cakey. All in all this is a great pick if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a foundation and you like something with a medium coverage and a glowy finish.
Have you discovered any good foundations from the drugstore lately?
