My Hero Hair Product: Kiehl's Creme with Silk Groom

Don't get me wrong, I love having curly hair (although it took me some time to fully appreciate it), but sometimes it can get a bit unruly and frizzy. Thankfully this product came into my life about a year ago. I've tried everything: creams, mousses, serums, but I can definitely say that this works better than everything I've tried. I'm very low maintenance when it comes to my hair; I very rarely style it and I pretty much always let it air dry, so I want a product that is going to do a lot for my hair with very little effort.

I apply this to my damp hair and once my hair has dried, my curls are defined, my hair feels super soft, and the frizz is pretty much gone.  I like that this stuff is actually good for my hair and isn't just making it look good on the cosmetic level; it contains soy protein and jojoba oil, which are two really conditioning ingredients. And although this is a heavy cream, it doesn't weigh my hair down or make my hair look greasy at all.  I also love the smell of this stuff, it kind of smells like lemon buttercream. The one gripe I do have is the packaging, because it is such a thick cream it's sometimes hard to squeeze it out of the bottle.

What's your hero hair product?

  1. This sounds lovely! My hero hair product is probably the Ojon Revitalizing Mist though because it's a fantastic detangler/leave-in conditioner that doesn't weigh my fine hair down.

  2. I'll have to give that a try! I love/am reliant on detanglers :)
