It's been quite some time since I've done a favorites post, so I figured, new year, new habit. I'm going to try to post a favorites every month because, to be honest, these are my some of my favorite posts to read.
Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation
My skin, for some odd reason, has been going through a bit of a rough patch lately and because of that I've needed to up the coverage a bit for my base, so I put aside my beloved LM Tinted Moisturizer and picked up an old favorite, the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation. This is a great light-weight foundation that leaves the most natural, glowy (but not too glowy) finish.
Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado
I use this eye cream year round, but this month it has come in especially handy because my eye-area has been quite dry. This is definitely one of the thickest eye creams I have come across, and it does wonders for hydrating the eye area. It's definitely a no-frills kind of eye cream, it doesn't make any bold claims to get rid of dark circles or wrinkles but it does provide an unparalleled amount moisture.
Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie
I think I have found the one, no seriously guys, I think this shade has honestly made Holy Grail status. I've loved the Revlon Lip Butters since they launched and I finally decided to pick this shade up earlier this month and boy was that a good decision. It is the perfect everyday color, and adds a hint of a nice natural berry color to the lips.
Clinique Chubby Stick For Eyes in Fuller Fudge
With classes starting back up this month, I couldn't really be bothered to spend a lot of time in the mornings on my makeup, but I still wanted to look like I've made some effort. The shade of this is perfect, as it adds definition and the warm brown color makes my blue-green eyes pop. These chubby sticks are also super quick and easy to apply, I kind of messily draw it on my eyes, blend it out with my finger, whack a bit of mascara on and then I'm done!
Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface
Come to think of it, I have not worn any other blush but this one this month. This natural light pink blush goes with pretty much any look and looks super flattering. The lasting power is also great with this range of blushes.
