The Autumn Edit

I may be jumping the gun a bit but I am so ready for fall, or as all of you lovely brits say, "autumn". I tend to change up my makeup quite a bit especially when it comes to eyes and lips. Nothing makes me feel more cozy and autumnal than a warm smokey eye, flushed cheeks, and a nice dark lip and these are my favorite products to achieve that look.

MAC Eyeshadow Quad

I love putting together eyeshadow quads and this one is no exception. I put all of my favorite MAC eyeshadows for fall in this quad and I love that you could pretty much mix and match all of the colors in here to create a lovely autumnal smokey eye. The eyeshadows I used for this quad were: Woodwinked (top left), Sable (top right), Mulch (bottom left), and Sketch (bottom right).

NARS Larger Than Life Lipgloss in Place Vendôme

This lipgloss came out about a year ago in the NARS fall collection and has since been made apart of the permanent line, which was a very good call on Mr. François Nars's part. This gloss is a great option for any of you fellow bright-lip lovers because as it is an extremely glossy and pigmented raspberry color.

Benefit Benetint

Fun fact: did you know that the creators of Benefit created Benetint as nipple tint for strippers. Yup kinda strange but Benetint is nonetheless a beautiful product. I love using using this deep rose-colored (let's be honest it looks like blood) liquid as both a cheek stain for a very natural flush and as a lip stain for that bitten look.

NARS Sin Blush

Sin is one of those blushes that I hardly ever wear when it isn't fall/winter, albeit a beautiful blush. I find that this is the perfect blush to pair with a plummy lip as the blush is also plum-toned. I also love that this blush has a golden sheen to it so the cheeks look wonderfully glowing without using any highlighter!

Revlon Black Cherry Lipstick

I can easily say that this is the crown jewel of fall/winter makeup products purely because of how versatile it is. Yeah yeah I know what you're thinking "Hannah, how the hell is a lipstick with the word black in it versatile?!" Well, its versatile because of how dark it is. When applied straight from the lipstick bullet it creates a very dark and vampy look (as the name would imply), but when pushed into the lips with fingers it creates a beautiful stain that looks like you've been eating loads of blackberries. And if you are feeling especially daring, you can put a bit on your fingers and apply a bit to the cheeks, for a that après-ski look that I always talk about.

What are your favorite products for fall/autumn?
